Well, a-lot of the time I feel like this.

Today there was a freak storm with lightning, thunder & car-threatening hail while we were attempting to drive to Greensboro to go indoor climbing, mission aborted & we returned home… only for the Sun to come out as soon as we got out of the car!

We decided just to go to the local gym & climbed some walls there which made me real tired! Then I took a yoga class a bit later & wanted to snooze for days. I also saw a cloud of bats.

Vegetarian pizza with tofu, pineapple & more, yum yum yum, plus hummus & pita, followed by ice cream with banana, hot fudge sauce & watching Surrogates at the cinema. I don’t like action films really!!! This one was okay.

I just wanted to mention, if I haven’t already, the abundance of inner-citty puppies in America! It’s really quite something. So many people have apartment dogs, and not just those Paris Hilton rat style ones, big, gorgeous huskies, labradores, beagles, mixers… all sorts! It’s pretty lovely & they get taken for walks every day, still it would be nicer for them to have a yard to frolick in :(

Here are some more of my plans for when I get home:

Physio – Having some small back problems, so this should iron those out (I’m getting so old!)

Personal trainer – I’m hopefully hooking up a good deal with this! Yay!

Studies – I’ve applied to study Music Business @ TAFE next year, fingers crossed I get in! It counts as credits towards the Melbourne course I was looking at so that will be useful if I decide to continue studying :)

Gym – Looking at signing up to a gym if I get into school, then I can get a concession discount! YAY! Stingy much?

Adobe Photoshop Course – I’m looking at doing a 3 day Photoshop course, however it’s pretty expensive ($900!). I don’t know, I feel like it might be worth it to have a proficiency in it & be able to include it on my resume. Any thoughts?

    Brilliant plans miss!!

I wish I took my dog for more walks… As this weather fines up I will. I will, I will, I will!

Unless you have $900 burning a hole in your pocket, Photoshop is a relatively easy program to learn how to use. Not only are there plenty of walkthroughs on the program just a Google search away, but the best way to learn how to use Photoshop is, if you have the program, just to muck around with it until you gradually get the hang of it.
And yes, an adequate knowledge of how to use Photoshop on your resume will give any job interviewer a boner.

I did a photoshop unit as part of my Media & Comms certificate. I hated it but I think it’d be beneficial if you’re interested in that sort of thing :) I say, go for it! :)

Bambi: Aw, I think you may have told me but what kinda doggy do you have? Take it for more walks for sure! And you can goss me up any time :)

I do have Photoshop, I guess I kinda want a piece of paper that lets people know I can use it.

Alex: Whats a media & comms certificate, is that a University or Tafe course? Thanks for your input!
