Well, a-lot of the time I feel like this.

Today there was a freak storm with lightning, thunder & car-threatening hail while we were attempting to drive to Greensboro to go indoor climbing, mission aborted & we returned home… only for the Sun to come out as soon as we got out of the car!

We decided just to go to the local gym & climbed some walls there which made me real tired! Then I took a yoga class a bit later & wanted to snooze for days. I also saw a cloud of bats.

Vegetarian pizza with tofu, pineapple & more, yum yum yum, plus hummus & pita, followed by ice cream with banana, hot fudge sauce & watching Surrogates at the cinema. I don’t like action films really!!! This one was okay.

I just wanted to mention, if I haven’t already, the abundance of inner-citty puppies in America! It’s really quite something. So many people have apartment dogs, and not just those Paris Hilton rat style ones, big, gorgeous huskies, labradores, beagles, mixers… all sorts! It’s pretty lovely & they get taken for walks every day, still it would be nicer for them to have a yard to frolick in :(

Here are some more of my plans for when I get home:

Physio – Having some small back problems, so this should iron those out (I’m getting so old!)

Personal trainer – I’m hopefully hooking up a good deal with this! Yay!

Studies – I’ve applied to study Music Business @ TAFE next year, fingers crossed I get in! It counts as credits towards the Melbourne course I was looking at so that will be useful if I decide to continue studying :)

Gym – Looking at signing up to a gym if I get into school, then I can get a concession discount! YAY! Stingy much?

Adobe Photoshop Course – I’m looking at doing a 3 day Photoshop course, however it’s pretty expensive ($900!). I don’t know, I feel like it might be worth it to have a proficiency in it & be able to include it on my resume. Any thoughts?

Alright kids! These are the two best Youtubes on the internet, make no mistake about that. This family is from North Carolina, where I currently am existing. Watch watch watch, soooooo good.

“I don’t LIKE this crap!”

“We’re definitely not calorie counters, cos we can’t count that high” & “Chicken nuggets, is like ma family”

LEMON BARS & FOOD COMAS.

September 23, 2009

The past three days have involved so much eating. Today was no exception with the following items consumed:

- Bowl of oatmeal with banana
- Orange juice
- Tall glass of water with lemon

(not doing too badly so far!)

- Double fried fries with sauce *drooooool* so good
- Rocket, pear, walnut, dried cranberry & fetta salad
- Delicious mushroom risotto
- Little tomato bruschettas
- 4 x lemon bars (omfffg)
- 2 x papadums
- Bowl of spinach
- Aloo paratha

asdfajksdfjkasdfjkldsfjlkasdfkljadsf. I mean I guess that isn’t that much? But I feel like i’ve been eating ALLLL DAY!

YUM!

Anddd thus ends my informative post on Today’s food intake. Ciao!

The weekend has come and gone, proving fruitful in the areas of getting owned by shots, pretending to hit on guys using terrible lines intended for women from the show “The Pickup Artist” (highly recommend btw if you enjoy watching sexually frustrated, socially awkward men trying to talk to women & eventually triumph…*tear*), such lines include… “Did you see the huge fight outside before?! These 2 girls were fighting over this guy named Herman!”, “So, what do you have going for you besides your good looks? There’s a lot of good looking people here. What else have you got?”, & “You blink a lot”.

HAHA. Loves it. You know, drinking a tall glass of water when you start to feel pretty drunk is a great way to ensure you last a lot longer than everyone else. I know they teach you it in school, but I feel like no one really does it much. BUT IT WORKS!

I keep getting complimented on my shoes a lot here, which is nice. I think there are a lot more people in Perth with fun & cute shoes than in Winston-Salem, so that is a credit to us all.

A girl @ the Wholefoods Market liked my Converse Skimmers a lot. Picture:

My friend Reid also purchased a pair of Lichtenstein inspired Puma sneakers on my presentation of them to him. I love Lichenstein sooooo much!@#@! These shoes are amazing and have created much attention to the South of his knees:

So as the title suggests, Tonight I had the delicious privelige of eating some CHERRY NAAN BREAD. Wowowow. It was SO good! And tasted amazing with the vegetable masala I also ordered. Cherry naan. Who would have thought? DELISH. If you see it out there, I urge a try.

Finally, I have been going to the gym. Shock horror applause yawn etc. That boy has been making me work out HARD. Way harder than I ever would alone, which proves that I really do need a personal trainer when I get back home.

My tummy is TIGHT! I am also going to do these things when I return:

Pole dancing for fitness classes

Bellydancing class

Hula Hooping class!

Continued yoga

These things make me smile to think of being fit and toned in time for Summer!

I also applied for University in Melbourne Yesterday just to mix things up even more… I’m quite tumultuous at the moment. We will see how things work out.

Little updates.

September 14, 2009

Life has been mostly comprising of video games, terrible sleeping patterns (stilllll!), project runway marathons & chocolate cake shots.

YES! Why hadn’t I heard of these before now? So amazing, 1/2 frangelico, 1/2 vanilla vodka, and a sugared lemon to suck on immediately after downing it. Tastes EXACTLY like chocolate cake. So fantastic. Please try!

America is fun and I enjoy being a novelty. The other thing I’ve been doing is setting up Wellness WA as a proper website which has been fun! But there’s still a lot to do :)

I don’t really have that much to talk about because we’ve just been taking it easy, hanging out with friends & eating tasty things… nothing wildly exciting.

I love y’all though, OH!

I’ve been really bad with keeping up with my blogroll links, so if I should have you on my list please leave a comment here and I will add everyone I should have added a long time ago! Xox

Coming to you live from the couch, the cable tee vee is on & I am eating CINNAMON TWISTS that we just picked up on an 11pm Taco Bell run after playing Marvel: Ultimate Alliance for over 5 hours, uh. Sloth heaven no doubt.

This is something cool:

Elinkan

kittentails!

Elinkan again. Pretttty lady. I’m going to try and get my hair that colour too at some point, love it, style stalk.

Anyway, it’s cute & exciting that we have the same mass-produced H&M top, I love that top :)

Other things I’ve been up to include: having bowls of baby spinach around so I reach for that before reaching for other naughty snacks like Cheetos which have been killing my energy & skin, watching mega marathons of “Bromance” & “The City”. And that’s about it, really!

Future plans include: more rock climbing, water park, VISITING WILMINGTON, NC WHICH IS WHERE DAWSONS CREEK WAS FILMED!!!! Going to Colorado or Ohio to see Brand New, beer festival, county fair!!! Going on a 2 hour lazy tube ride down a nearby river, bonfireeeee, trip to DC and um lots more that I can’t even remember right now!

I’ve decided when I get home I’m going to get a personal trainer, I’ve never really been super fit or healthy (despite attempting to eat well) and I want to change that as a part of my goal of optimum wellbeing.

My camera is out of action at the moment, argggggh! But soon I’ll get some pics uploaded from Reid’s for more internet stalking fun times!

LOVEEE.

My dream girl don’t exist.

September 5, 2009

This is life.

PLEASE?

Also, I’m forever a part of Winston-Salem because a 50 cent coin was stuck to the wall of a bar here, I love cider & I am KILLER at beer pong *proud*

Time to play Yoshis Island now &/or pass out.

I’m not sure if I previously touched on this, but on my 13.5 hour flight o’ doom from Sydney to San Francisco 3 weeks ago I watched a film called Adventureland & I verymuch adored it.

This could be for a number of reasons, ranging first of all from the fact that I have worked at an amusement park called Adventure WORLD and could relate to many aspects of the film, have a penchant for dark, brooding teenage angst drama-comedies or that I fell in love with the character of James Brennan, played by Jesse Eisenberg.

The film also contains Kristen Stewart, who you know from Twilight (hateddd it – but now from this movie am inspired to re-watch) & the relationship between her & ‘James’ is so awkward & fantastic it makes me gleeful.

If you watch any of the previews for the film – heres one I prepared earlier – it seems a lot more comedic than it actually is, imo.

Basically I am telling you to get out there and watch this movie as soon as possible, you too can fall in love with Jesse & swoon.

Have you seen this film? Thoughts? xo
