Websites that are similar to Fred Flare…Pt 2!

Cupcake floss anyone? That’s a resounding yes from me…

While there is absolutely no denying that Fred Flare is one of the cutest, kitschiest, super-fun online stores in which to improve your a) personal style, b) surroundings, c) likelihood that someone is going to want to be your best friend, d) all of the above; sometimes you just NEED a new place to go to inject some new & different cuteness into your life!

Well I am here to help! Due to the popularity of the last ‘Websites that are like Fred Flare’ post, I’ve decided to do another one. REJOICE! YAY! Party poppers! Falling over drunk on champagne because you are so happy!

Ok ok, Icecream Kitchen Timer says your time is UP and the journey begins now!

It’s good to stay local, with so many webstores located in the US & England, it can be hard to find cute ones that are located nearby.

Ruck Rover General Store is one such local gem (for me at least!). They are a real store located in Mount Lawley, Perth & have recently started doing online orders as well so that everyone can share in the goodies they have to offer!

The girls Claire & Isabelle who run the shop are both super nice, which makes me even more pleased to recommend them! Here are a few of my favourite things of a multitude (tees! jewelery! boys stuff! bags! baby things! CUTENESS!) they have on offer…

*Small Sparrow Brooch

I have the Rabbit in the clouds one It’s a really great little notebook. I recommend them highly!

*Nooworks – Need a cute, crazy tee? This is your one stop shop!
*Little Odd Forest – Yes this shop is a ‘little odd’! But it’s very cute too, more eco-sustainably minded. One for the pretty hippies among us!
*Crowded Teeth – Crowded Teeth are jusssst starting to make it big, so get in before it goes out of control so you can say you knew about it before everyone else!

My favourite is the shark tee.

* supergoodforyou – more cute tees, profess your only friend as the television set or wear cute pastel knickers with icecreams on them. either way, this site is a winner.

* Bored Inc – With a kind of confusing motto like “It’s cute to be bored!” and a range of ‘Cute poo’ related items, I just had to include this site. If you’ve ever wanted to give a friend a stuffed smiling poo, then this is the place for you!!!

* Bonbi Forest – This site is excellent for jewellery and accessories, head here first if you want to snap up some bits and pieces that your friends are unlikely to have!

* Art Star – This is a shop I’ve been into for a little while, they stock Kurt Halsey prints & other items (amazing, pls check them out) as well as HEAPS AND HEAPS OF OTHER REALLY CUTE AWESOME THINGS! I like this site a lot, but haven’t ordered anything yet, just drooled from a far…

Okay so we’ve got quite the list so far…

I’d like to take this moment to recommend a few friends websites that may not necessarily be exactly akin to Fred Flare but are cute & awesome in their own right & you would definitely benefit from checking them out!

* teacupbandits – lovely Kate-Anna & her pretty, pretty art.

* Bad Hair Mountain – Excellent art/prints from local wonderboy Sean Morris.

* Alegorie – Fashion accessories that tell your story. This is a great site for unique bags & accessories c/o seaofghosts
