Churros for tea.
August 28, 2008
Tonight I ate churros for dinner & it was AMAZING! Oh, so, delicious. Goodness. The company was good too.
Be warned…whingy post ahead.
I’ve gotten myself into this horrible routine where I sleep from about 1-2am until about 10-11am, wake up, groggily grab my laptop and do internet for an hour or so, before even getting up to have breakfast. I then try and do something for a few hours, before feeling overwhelmingly exhausted, and wanting to sleep again! (at 2/3pm) however when I do I get that whole “sleep inertia” thing & feel awful for the rest of the night. So I try not to. But am just so tired! I think it’s because I haven’t been working or having to do anything for aaaaaages.
Starting work on Monday is going to be a real challenge! However the hours are 10-6 at the moment so at least I will gradually be eased into it.
I don’t know how I would have done with the 7.30 am job (who didn’t call me coincidentally, phew!).
Even though I try to be so good I’ve been feeling lethargic the past few days, I ate hungry jacks Today & had tinned spaghetti for breakfast. I am naughty and feel bad for it.
To top it all off I have a mega zit 2008 living quite happily on my chin (thanks hormones!) making me a little miserable.
So all in all, I’m slump city.

Primped – Really cute new beauty site from the Fruity Beauty writer, who used to be the Beauty Editor for Harpers Bazaar, whatever. It’s a cute site! Ch-ch-check it.

That’s cool that you don’t have such an early start. Churros are yummy.
I get like this extreme tiredness sometimes and I become so miserable – it’s cold here, I can’t sleep, I have to go to work and I’m bored. blah. That’s when I take a day off to chillax and watch awful daytime telly. It sort of resets everything. SO maybe the opposite will work for you – going to work on Monday will give you a nice new change?

Yes, what Miss Karen said, you will be much better next week, routine is good sometimes. If not, I will hypnotise you to believe you will be, you can tell me all your customer experience stories.

It’s easy to slip into habits like that when you fall out of your routine, isn’t it? All the best for the new job!
