Yoga!

Stolen from Richards Pics
Just a really quick update to say that I went to my Yoga class tonight.
It was mostly really gentle exercises on the mat, a lot less of a workout than I am used to from prior yoga classes. It was held in a warm, dark hall with a soft orange light at one end & gentle music piping throughout.
During it I felt a little fidgety because I wanted to be doing the ‘harder stuff’ but at the end I felt really balanced, I think that’s the only way I can really describe it.
Yoga makes you feel balanced, like things are in the right place & the world is okay. I felt motivated so when I went home I cooked a healthy vege burger (and made it unhealthy with hot chips!), drank a glass of water then later had a green tea. (THEN LATER HAD HOT RHUBARB AND ICECREAM – not so healthy but how can I say no to that?! It was so delicious!!!)
I think I’ll stick with it & also try to add a more challenging class when I feel ready.
I’m really excited about life at the moment

Dandy Warhols, Phantom of the Opera, High Fidelity & Employyyy!

Thanks to someone I call a friend, I’ve recently been put onto this album. Yeah yeah, of course I knew of it’s existence & the few songs on it that are mega hits, but I never actually bothered to listen to the whole thing all the way through.
I am really glad I have now! The song “Sleep” especially, I listen to it when I’m driving and it’s probably bad because it makes me so tired & just want to snuggle up in bed and dream for the rest of my life.
28th of October, baby.
Last night I worked at a Phantom of the Opera thing & EVERSOSADLY missed my weekly dancin
*POUT* I am going to Yoga Tonight though so I will stretch it up & not feel so bad.
I also watched High Fidelty, oh swoon I love that movie & John Cusack is a HEART-THROB! I would totally date his character from that movie. 30 year old MEGA MUSIC NERD? Yeah okay.
So…drumroll…
I am now employed as the GUEST RELATIONS CO-ORDINATOR @ Adventure World! Hehe! The job seems really cool, I’m getting paid a LOT more than I have previously, it’s an 8 minute drive from my house, it’s challenging and doesn’t seem boring & I get to reply to complaining e-mails about children who didn’t have a fun day at the theme park! Yay!!! I’m pretty excited & start next week, now I just have to break up with my other job
Hateee doing that!
To celebrate I bought a pair of socks I’m pretty sure Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz would wear, they are red with red shiny flecks all throughout. I’m going to wear them with black ballet flats, but I’m not sure what else yet. I’ll take a photo and let the internet decide soon!
Went back & tried the star dress on in a smaller size & it was a no go
Alas alas!
I also bought some wheatgerm, soy yoghurt & pitos, my eternal lover. This has degenerated into a shopping list so I should end it here!
