The Rio, The Venetian & Me.

Under the weather.

The past three days I have been feeling really unwell, Summer cold they say. It’s really hideous, though I had Indian food last night which helped a bit!

The Daily 15 task yesterday was to listen to 15 minutes of classical music, I did & I enjoyed it a lot! I listened to Pachelbels Canon in D major, which probably rings no bells at all to most but if you listen to it you will know it! It’s one of the saddest pieces of music ever & it’s so amazing that it was made in the 1680s.Youtube is a friend.

We stayed at The Rio hotel last night because it was the 4th of July & The Venetian where we were staying was going to be $900 for that one night!!! Ootrageous! So we moved to a cheaper hotel for the night, where I promptly got a little rash from the bed (disgusting I know) on my arm. This doesn’t happen to me often! We went out and it subsided, but when I went to go to sleep again it came back. UGH! Therefore I kinda hate that place.

Now I am back @ The Venetian drinking a strawberry-banana-apple smoothie again and rejoicing. If you’re ever going to find yourself in Vegas, give the Rio a miss if you fear rash-times.

Today if I can drag myself out of bed, I am going here. The Forum Shops @ Caesars!!!

It’s so amazing in there, it has TWISTING ESCALATORS!!! Okay! I have never seen anything like that before, THEY GO AROUND IN A SPIRAL! You can kinda tell in the picture if you look closely. FRIGGEN – WHOW.

Also there are a veritable bounty of shoppes!

There is a lot more too, but those are the ones I’m most excited about! Of course I will post my haul when I return, however I am finding myself quite frugal due to being nearly broke, so I’ll do what I can!
